Me in 30 seconds

Hi, I’m Ustyn (Устин in Ukrainian).

I make films, edit videos, take photographs, write, travel, and spend unreasonable amount of time trying to understand our world.

I’ve been working with video for more than 20 years. Editing, cinematography, color grading, storytelling, and marketing have been a big part of my professional life.

Outside of work, I shoot film photography, travel, hike, read, write, and practice systems thinking.

This website is where I collect some of those things.

About me

Photography

I shoot mostly film these days, currently with a Pentax K2. Also, I have a Fuji X-T4, which I use occasionally as well.

I like the slower process. Fewer photographs. More attention.

Writing

I haven’t quite figured out what I want to write about here yet.

For now, it’s an experiment. A collection of random ideas, observations, and things I’m curious about in life.

We’ll see where it leads me.
